Scott Lavene

Described as "a 21st century take on those maverick genius outsiders that Stiff Records used to release back in the punk wars" and unsurprisingly gaining plenty of 6 Music airtime, Lavene has inveigled himself onto The Bell's stage through the stratagem of grabbing a Bath band (the polyglot Port Erin) to provide the "wonk beats and scuzz riffs" upon which he writes his street stories.
