Irantzu Agirre-Arrizubieta presents
Dawn of Shadows & Scintillation
A Multidisciplinary Arts Performance with Harp Music
Virtuoso harpist Irantzu Agirre-Arrizubieta has performed around the world since the age of sixteen, both as a soloist and in leading orchestras. Described by the 'New York Concert Review' as "a sensitive chamber musician as well as a virtuoso soloist", she will perform her latest multidisciplinary project, 'Dawn of Shadows and Scintillation', a performance combining solo music for the Harp, literature in Basque, Spanish and English, images and lighting effects. The performance explores the journey of a person from pain, despair and longing for the past to hope and being true to herself with her actions in the present. Literary works are by B. Gandiaga, F. García Lorca, M.Graham and W.Shakespeare. Music includes works by: A.Negrón, C.Salzedo and P.Burnell’s recently premiered Robot Picking Blackb’ries.
